To make a long story short, T.WAY's journey began in 2006 with a Sharpie marker and a pair of old sneakers inside a freshman dorm room. After years of research and development with specialty leather paints, artist/designer T.WAY finally sold himself on his rather unique product: freehand painted customized sneakers. By never accepting "No" as an answer and through countless trials of dedication and persistence, he gradually gained the trust within a network of some of the most powerful names in sports - all while still being a full-time college student. After graduating in 2009, T.WAY continued the custom footwear service for an elite list of clientele while expanding his business into other creative forms such as apparel design, collaboration projects, identity development, brand consultation, marketing, and more. His custom sneakers have become coveted works of art, and T.WAY often uses his artistic talent to raise funds for charitable causes.
